About Sisley: an Unconventional Brand

Sisley, a well-established fashion brand, started in Paris in 1968 with its pioneering Denim collection. Later, in 1974, it joined the Italian fashion giant Benetton. However, it was in 1985 that Sisley truly developed its distinct and independent personality. Today, with over 900 points of sale worldwide, Sisley is celebrated for its strong, sexy, and unconventional character. Its highly contemporary aesthetic is instantly recognisable and remains a hallmark of the brand.

The Challenge: Enhancing Milan’s Flagship Store

Sisley’s flagship store in Milan, located in Piazza San Babila, required a refresh to maintain its competitive edge. The challenge was clear: modernise the store’s appearance while staying true to the brand’s distinctive style. Moreover, the goal was to create a shopping environment that not only reflected Sisley’s bold and contemporary identity but also enhanced the customer experience. To achieve this, innovative digital signage solutions for retail were essential. Transforming the store’s windows into a dynamic platform that could convey the brand’s message instantly and impactfully was a key part of this strategy.

Our Digital Signage Solutions for Sisley’s Milan Flagship

To address this challenge, we collaborated closely with Sisley to renew their flagship store in Milan. Our primary focus was on ensuring that Sisley’s unique style and characteristics were effectively showcased. A significant part of this renewal involved the digitalisation of the store’s windows, where we installed a prominent 69 sqm LED Wall with a 2.6mm pitch. These advanced digital signage solutions for fashion retail allowed Sisley to project its brand image with remarkable clarity and vibrancy. As a result, the store now makes an immediate impression on shoppers, significantly enhancing its visibility.

Francesca Svab, Sisley’s Marketing Manager, noted: “Our flagship store in Milan S. Babila presents itself as an open environment facing the square. This design offers clear visibility inside the retail space and creates an enjoyable shopping experience. Additionally, minimal furnishings and a clear, simple purchasing process further enhance this new approach to the shopping experience.”

She stated, “In such a central location in Milan, at the heart of the shopping district, digitising the shop windows was a ‘no-brainer.’ The presence of LED walls enables us to convey the brand image and messages instantly, impactfully, and in a versatile manner.”
