The Retail Media Village 2026 returns to Intersections on 28 and 29 October at Allianz MiCo, Milan. After the success of the first edition, the format comes back bigger and richer. Accenture Song, M-Cube and Salesforce created the Village, and this year two new players join them: Selex Media and Samsung.
Intersections brings together IAB Forum and IF! Italians Festival, two key Italian events for marketing, communication, creativity and technology. Within it, the Village is the space dedicated to Retail & Commerce Media. Above all, it focuses on the changes that are redrawing the future of advertising. For two days, brands, retailers, media agencies and technology players meet in one place. Together, they explore how the sector is evolving through technologies, data, artificial intelligence and new advertising models close to the moment of purchase.
The Village is a true event within the event. It works as a meeting point for everyone who builds, buys or activates Retail Media in Italy. Retailers find partners to turn their stores and digital properties into media channels. Brands discover new ways to reach shoppers at the point of decision. Meanwhile, media agencies and technology players compare models, tools and results.
The experience is immersive by design. Over the two days of Intersections, the Village offers a rich programme of insights, showcases and networking moments. Its goal is to share trends and best practices, discover new solutions and create connections and business opportunities.
In other words, the Retail Media Village 2026 turns a fast-growing topic into concrete conversations. For a broader view of the market, you can also read our article on how retail media works in today’s retail landscape.
This year, the Retail Media Village 2026 renews itself with two key elements. First, a large exhibition area hosts the technologies and solutions that are transforming Retail Media in-store and online. Visitors can see them in action and talk directly with the experts behind them. At the M-Cube space, for example, our team shows how the store becomes a media channel, connecting screens, content and data.
Second, a dedicated stage hosts the whole Village programme. Here, retailers, brands, media agencies and technology players share future scenarios, real cases and the main international trends. As a result, visitors can move easily from the talks to the solutions, and from the solutions to new contacts.
The first edition showed how much interest the topic generates in Italy. Compared with that debut, the Village now offers more space, more voices and more time for discussion.
Within the Retail Media Village 2026 programme, M-Cube leads two workshops on in-store Retail Media. Gabriele Legramandi, Sales Manager Retail Media, and Marco Croci, Retail Media & Omnichannel Solution Design Manager, host both sessions together.
The first, “Progettare l’infrastruttura digitale dello store per massimizzare il valore del Retail Media”, takes place on 28 October at 17:00. It starts from the in-store customer experience, which continues online through the retailer’s digital properties and data. On this base, the monetisation of store spaces needs an omnichannel offer and activatable first-party data.
The second, “Retail Media in-store: misurare l’efficacia per generare valore”, runs on 29 October at 15:30. In-store is the largest area of Retail Media by transaction volume, yet the least measured. Therefore, the session explores a measurement framework that links what happens in front of the screen to sales. It also covers what makes it scalable: data, shared governance and technology chosen according to its benefit.
The Retail Media Village 2026 is open throughout Intersections, on 28 and 29 October at Allianz MiCo, Milan. To attend, register on the official Intersections website. Once inside, follow the Village programme on the dedicated stage and visit the exhibition area between talks. Our team welcomes visitors at the M-Cube space on both days.
