M-Cube Secures €28 Million Refinancing to Support Growth and Acquisitions

News & Events

We have secured €28 million from UniCredit and Banco BPM to strengthen our organic growth and support new M&A operations across the European market.

Access to new financial instruments is a key factor for companies looking to accelerate growth and consolidation, particularly in sectors marked by strong competition and evolving market dynamics. We completed a refinancing operation worth a total of €28 million, carried out in partnership with UniCredit and Banco BPM.

The agreement allows us to optimise our financial structure, reducing the burden of costs through the full repayment of our existing bond loan. The package also includes a revolving credit facility (RCF) to support the working capital needed for our organic growth, both in Italy and in the international markets where we operate. Specific Capex lines have also been set aside to support our future M&A operations.

This operation strengthens our financial capacity, giving us the resources to pursue expansion both through the development of our existing activities and through targeted acquisitions. The European market, marked by a growing trend towards consolidation, offers significant opportunities for operators with a solid financial base.

The joint participation of two leading banking institutions reflects confidence in our development prospects and in the solidity of our industrial model. Commenting on this, Silvia Bernardi, Corporate NordEst Manager at UniCredit, stated:

“The operation carried out with M-Cube fully reflects the role UniCredit intends to play alongside businesses: supporting credible industrial projects, backing sustainable growth paths and creating the financial conditions to seize new market opportunities. We recognised in M-Cube a company with a clear strategic vision and strong potential for international development, and we are therefore particularly pleased to have provided the Group with the financial support needed to accelerate its growth path.”

Gianluca Pasquali, our Group CEO, also commented on the operation:

“We are extremely satisfied with the agreement reached with UniCredit and Banco BPM, a €28 million operation that confirms the strength of our company’s trajectory and gives us a decisive boost to drive our expansion plan. With these new resources, we intend to further strengthen our position, accelerating both organic growth and new targeted acquisitions.”

HLD, our reference shareholder, played an active role in structuring the operation, supporting us through key phases and confirming its commitment to backing our development strategy, both organic and through acquisitions.

Thanks to this new financial structure, we will be able to consolidate our international presence and strengthen our role in the digital retail solutions sector, expanding our expertise, geographic coverage and service capacity for major international clients. The operation was finalised with legal assistance from Pedersoli & Gattai, our advisor, and Deloitte Legal, alongside the lending institutions.
